There’s no reason to skip on being healthy even when you’re in a hurry. Here’s a smoothie recipe guaranteed to fill your tummy and leave you energized for the day ahead.
2 cups frozen banana
1 tbsp agave syrup or coconut syrup
2 cups soymilk/ non-dairy milk substitute
1 cup frozen strawberries/blueberries
½ cup rolled oats
½ cup trail mix or mixed nuts
(almond, walnut, pecan, pine nuts)
½ tsp Chia seeds
1. Reserve some mint leaves as garnish, then put the remaining ingredients in a blender or food processor, blend for around 1 minute.
2. Add agave to taste and blend for another 10 seconds.
3. Pour in a glass, top with fresh strawberries and fresh mint. Sprinkle with Chia Seeds. Serve.
